#18 -Networking? Who me?

Everyone can benefit from networking outside of their workplace. What are you doing to fill your bucket when it comes to meeting new professionals and learning new things?

Whether you target networking groups that are specific to your industry or business networking groups that are open to a variety of industries there is a certain power of refreshing your networks.

Possible outcomes:

1)     Meet new business professionals

2)     Develop a group of business resources

3)     Earn new business

4)     Recruit someone new to your company

5)     Be recruited

6)     Find a high quality vendor

7)     Pause for an hour from your regular job and fuel yourself professionally

The Business Journal has publications in many different metro areas throughout the US and offers a variety of events for business professionals. http://www.bizjournals.com/

If you want to improve your public speaking, Toastmasters might be a good option. http://www.toastmasters.org/

I have heard fabulous things about Business Networking International. http://www.bni.com/

There you have it. Go ahead and get signed up for the next event.
