McGeachy’s career in human resources has included roles in recruitment, employee relations, training, and professional development coaching for companies large and small. McGeachy founded HR consulting and professional development coaching firm McGeachy Consulting in 2010 after serving as co-founder and vice-president of Career Movement, the executive search and career coaching company that she helped launch in 2006. As an entrepreneur, McGeachy can personally relate to the challenges and opportunities faced by new and expanding companies in today’s business climate.
Prior to launching Career Movement, McGeachy successfully advanced through several roles at professional services firm ARAMARK, named one of the “World’s Most Admired Companies” by Fortune Magazine in 2011. McGeachy’s work at ARAMARK helped to reduce turnover, increase sales and productivity, and create a viable career brand.
McGeachy specializes in all areas of human resources, including recruitment, retention, employee relations, human resources policies, transition, career coaching, and career planning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in human resources management from Washington State University. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM); she is also a certified professional coach through the Coach Training Alliance (CTA) and is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICA).
