The Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) hired Amy to consult on several Staff Development projects that included; creating a Professional Development Plan form, enhancing the Performance Appraisal and redeveloping related policies and procedures that are associated with Staff Development. In addition to these tools, she also created in-depth users guides and training for each of these tools. Amy partnered directly with me and also collaborated with field team members to understand the agency culture and provide the best products to OCDC. Upon rolling the tools out to the field we received high accolades from agency staff who commented that the Professional Development Plan materials and resources were comprehensive and user friendly. Amy has a wealth of Human Resources knowledge and expertise which made working with her on this project both enjoyable and educational.

Today our HR department is functioning better than ever and has given me a sense of security I have never had.

We are a small to mid-size advertising agency that had someone functioning in the HR role however not to a level needed for us to continue our growth as well as handle the current internal Human Resource needs. Prior to working as a consultant for us, Amy was a great resource for us as she had helped me with finding and hiring a number of candidates in a wide variety of positions. We decided to make a move internally to move someone more capable of handling the HR role and moved our current Controller into a dual functioning position of HR and Controller.

 

This person lacked the experience of a full time HR director and also had a full work load with her Controller duties so the decision was made to work with Amy in a consulting role to lessen the burden of both functions while still getting professional advice when needed.
