Tiny Influence at the World Trade Center; Executive Search at NYC’s most Iconic Property

Lower Manhattan skyline financial district, New York

As an executive recruiter I’ve literally filled positions all over this country from California to Texas to Chicago and New York. In 2013 I conducted the most important executive search of my career at the World Trade Center location in New York City. As you can imagine the prestige and respect of working on an executive search like this for for an iconic developer was thrilling, humbling and inspiring.

Cold calling a unique group of professionals in a niche market was rewarding as they literally stopped in their tracks when I said the location that they would be working. New Yorkers are drawn to this location as a way to help rebuild their city and put their own mark on revitalizing Ground Zero. I spoke with candidates from Yankee Stadium, Rockefeller Plaza, The Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden and the many developers in the city. Every single person had time to hear about the opportunity.

The client selected not one but two of the¬†candidates to join their team which was the cherry on top of this executive search for me. I’m still humbled and grateful for the opportunity to put a tiny influce on rebuilding WTC location and turning it into an iconic development center.

May you also find comfort and be proud of our country for rebuilding after 9/11.
