I am an HR Consultant to mid-sized businesses. It is my strong belief that workplaces, and the people in them, can both thrive while putting great work into the world. To that end, my consulting practice focuses on the people side of HR, helping business leaders cultivate exceptional workplaces.
This all starts with developing an HR Strategy for clients. Within the strategy are tools such as implementing performance management, training, facilitation, measuring employee engagement, designing workplace communications plans, and developing employee handbooks, among many others. Developing and implementing an HR Strategy helps reduce employee turnover, improve employee engagement, and create a palpable sense of calm for small business leaders.
I also lead and facilitate an acclaimed Manager Training Series, which has hosted 100+ leaders throughout the US from a dozen companies. This has led to leaders becoming more competent in their ability to manage team members, series alumni earning promotions, and a 46% growth in the program.
Much like a pressure release valve, every day I partner with business leaders to carefully navigate their employee relations matters. Together, we mitigate risk while keeping them focused on their HR Strategy and long-term goals.

Quimby Sue
Quimby joined the McGeachy Consulting team as a puppy in 2016 and has made herself quite comfortable. Q-Dog works tirelessly every day lounging and listening to the activities at McGeachy Consulting's home office. Occasionally Quimby joins conference calls with clients though she prefers to remain behind the scenes. As a co-worker, Quimby is a faithful companion and remarkable listener.
